For best acceptance, introduce Bio-Serv's placebo or MD Tablets 1-2 days prior to surgery. Place tablets at cage floor level for ease of access by the animal. Feed one MD tablet per mouse per day to provide both the daily medication dose and diet. Standard feed can remain in feed hopper as animals will preferentially consume the flavored MD tablet. On average a standard mouse will consume 1 tablet per day.
Mouse MDs Meloxicam (0.125 mg/Tablet)
Mouse MDs Meloxicam Tablets are an effective anti-inflammatory drug used in a variety of species including rodents. Meloxicam MD’s are highly palatable and encourage appetite post-operatively. These tablets promote a more rapid recovery versus other conventional methods. Meloxicam tablets are an ideal pain-free alternative to stressful and injurious post-operative injections. Additionally, Meloxicam MDs can be customized to include antibiotics such as Baytril to provide both medications easily and affordably.
